If you have access to DSTV/M-Net on South Africa’s television channels, we’d like to invite you to tune in to M-Net at 19h00 on Sunday 1 March to see a feature on the College and our K9 Unit on Carte Blanche, titled Unleash the hounds, -NET’s pay channel flagship magazine and actuality programme.
Given the context and nature of our work, not many of our supporters get to see the results of their generosity in the field, so we’re delighted to have this opportunity to share insights into our work, in this case with a focus on the College’s innovative K9 Unit.
The College’s four-tiered approach to countering poaching, which involves combining a highly effective K9 unit with well- trained field rangers, aerial support and strong community engagement, continues to bear fruit when it comes to supporting the training of conservationists for the important job at hand.
We remain committed to innovation, high standards and responsiveness to the needs of the sector and appreciate your continued support.
Please do get in touch if you’d like to view a copy of the programme once broadcast or if you would like to support us in 2020. Every donation, big or small ensures that we can continue delivering on our training mandate.
Thank-you to the Carte Blanche team for visiting our campus and to the SAWC team, who continue to make us proud each and every day,
