The Southern African Wildlife College invites local and international communities to apply for our Professional Guide Entrepreneur Programme — a dynamic and accredited course that combines Dangerous Game Site Guiding (NQF 2) with New Venture Creation (NQF 4).

What you'll learn:

Dangerous Game Site Guide (NQF 2)

  • Interpret and track dangerous game
  • Conduct guided experiences in wild and remote areas
  • Manage risk and ensure guest safety
  • Communicate conservation ethics to tourists

Additionals – Advanced Rifle Handling competency, PFTC, VPDA

New Venture Creation (NQF 4)

  • Identify viable business opportunities in the wildlife economy
  • Build and pitch a winning business plan
  • Manage finances, marketing, and operations
  • Register and grow your own tourism enterprise

  • Duration: 3 months (modular delivery with field and classroom learning)
  • Accreditation: CATHSSETA (South Africa) – NQF Level 2 & 4
