Zanele works as a project coordinator for the Environmental Sustainability Agency (ESA), which partners with local landowner communities in building profitable wildlife-based businesses. As a born and raised woman from Bushbuckridge, Zanele is a part of the community in which she works and has established a career in helping to develop sustainably initiatives that benefit both people and wildlife. Since 2019, she has been responsible for the overall coordination, logistics and administration of projects at the ESA, and prior to that she was employed at the Southern African Wildlife College as a training programme coordinator and as a receptionist.
Zanele is proactive about keeping abreast of issues in her community and she is a family and health-orientated person.
