Originally English, but I have been working in and around East and Southern African for over 20 years. Based in South Africa for 12 years.
I have a very broad range of experience and interests in savanna ecosystems, from soils and vegetation to large mammals, human influence and livelihoods, and everything in between. My intention in life is to be an active problem solving optimist. In my professional life this means facilitating research, programs and interventions to protect and improve livelihoods and ecosystem function in as many ways as possible.
My current professional focus is on developing an innovation and technology hub at the wildlife college and on managing the development of our new and exciting three-year Applied Natural Resource Management diploma.
